Toby Keith Scheduled to Perform at Nobel Peace Prize Concert

Wow, seems like 1 heck of a ceremony for Nobel Peace Prize. Not that its undeserving and more so should be celebrated more in the eye of the public! -Greg

Toby Keith will perform at the Nobel Peace Prize concert taking place Dec. 11 in Oslo, Norway, organizers announced Wednesday (Sept. 30). Actor-rapper Will Smith and his wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, are co-hosts of the event that will also feature performances by Wyclef Jean, Donna Summer, Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi and Amadou & Mariam, a musical duo from Mali. This year’s winner of the Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on Oct. 9. The award ceremony is set for Dec. 10. The concert will mark Keith’s second Oslo performance in less than a month. His schedule already included a Nov. 21 show in the city during his tour of Scotland, England, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
So I am the Toby Keith Concert last night, not a bad show. He starts out with American Ride, which it hadn’t occurred to me before, but Lynn points out a verse in the song, “Got herself a record deal, can’t even sing a note.” Now I can’t say for sure, but I think it’s safe to say who he’s talking about, Taylor Swift. Honestly I had never been a huge Toby Keith fan, but at that moment I like him just a little more! You know last time he said something bad about some gals, the Dixie Chicks, they pretty much fell off the planet. Let’s just see how far it goes, thanks Toby! -Greg
