I had an iPhone, changed to an HTC Magic. I miss 2 things about the iPhone. AirVideo, which only doesn't work on Android because the company that makes it is smart enough to focus their efforts where the fanboys are. The second thing is ... ooops, maybe there was only one thing. Now all the things I love about my Droid:

1. GPS actually works, it sorta worked on the iPhone but my older Droid makes the iPhone just look dumb. Google Skymap is awesome and not something that would work with the iPhone because of its rotten directional sense.

2. Responsiveness, MUCH quicker than the iPhone.

3. SD Card, need I say more?

4. Gmail vs. Apple guess!

Shux, this list is just gonna get long once I start talking about the different ROMs and features available for my Droid. I did remember the other drawback though. Several of my applications work, but aren't as feature rich as the same app on iPhone. Just like AirVideo this is just a matter developers following the money and Steve has a lot of it. Someone will make an "AirVideo" equivalent sooner or later, or maybe I'll find the time to do it myself. At least I don't have to own a Mac and pay $100 to Apple, and go through a long bureaucratic processes just to be able to write an app for the silly thing.

Well i had many, many, many phones and i have to say that HTC is doing very well and almost the best, if they could make a battery that works longer then 1 day!!!
I had borrowed an Iphone 4 from a friend, because i refuse to buy one at this time, so i've tried it and it's a nice PDA, but not a phone!! And the hipe is the reason people are buying it, you don't belong in some cirkels if you don't have one!!
If you are realistic, it's just the name they go for, and the inside of the iphone 4 is almost the same as the samsung galaxy s, even samsung made the processor, they just renamed it! And the samsung galaxys is the best phone of all at this time.
Never lose a connection, battery is very good, well everything is wow!!! and works like wow!!

Well, I'm a consumer in the UK. ALways liked the look of the original iphone, but couldn't really justify the cost. Finally decided to get one.
Was blown away by the 'touchy-feely quality, and screen clarity.
Unfortunately, I could never get a decent signal on it, even when although my old phone (an old Nokia e71) never used to struggle.
Maybe it was a dud, so after a bit of a struggle, back to Vodafone it went ...
Replacement phone arrived. Same problems. Signal strength is ridiculous, as is voice quality. It's like listening to someone through a tin can.
Back to Vodafone it has got. I'm still using my old phone. Not really bothered about getting a replacement at the moment.
Flop? Yeah maybe. Definitely style over substance.
